Inspiration 4: Justin Hollar for Nylon Mexico Sky Shoot

Inspiration 3: Yulia Kharlapanova by Johan Sandberg for Marie Claire Italia June 2011

I've been drawn to clean-cut, minimal fashion recently.
I think it's a style I would like to explore in my own work.
Maybe keep the shape and design minimal but the print I produce,
will create an illusion on the body that follows the simple shape of the garment.
I think the simple shapes of these garments below work so well, my favourite is the second photo. The cut is fantastic and fits very well.

Inspiration 2: Jac Jagaciak by Zuza Krajewska & Bartek Wieczorek for Fashion Poland

Fashion Poland- summer issue.
Fashion tackling environmental issue for cleaner energy in Poland.
The garments in the photographs are bursting with energy, striking and really
draws you in to the message at heart.

Inspiration 1: Lisanne de Jong by Viviane Sassen for Dazed & Confused July 2011

This shoot is so inspirational for the colourful hippie inside me.
The location for this shoot complements the garments so well.
The model really works these garments to make the look like flowers
in bloom.

Back to lookbook

This summer I've been doing a lot of shopping and I now have a strong idea of my personal style and my confidence with my style has just grown. I now know what looks good on me and what I like to wear. I enjoy buying clothes that are trendy but I want clothes that have a certain feel. At the moment I'm really attracted to soft fabrics, floral prints, lace and knitted cardigans. So my everyday looks are moulded around these elements.

Reflections of a City

These are photographs I took a year ago, but since I've been blogging a lot about
Fashion and Textiles, I decide to take a break and blog about something different.
The idea of these photographs were to take some photographs of the reflections in
the mirror to create an interesting shots. Some worked and some didn't, I should work on
my photography a bit more.
